Sheila Lightle, age 61, a resident of Portland and a former\u00a0resident of Geneva, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sheila was born October 12, 1962 in Hartford City, Indiana the daughter of Luther and Kathleen (Gannon) Valentine.\u00a0Sheila graduated from Blackford High school in 1981. She worked in the cafeteria for Jay County High School and worked as a activity assistant at Swiss Village in Berne.\u00a0Sheila was also a CNA for 16 years.\u00a0Sheila attended The Rock Church in Portland and was a member of The Rock Ladies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Survivors Include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her children \u2013 Vivian \u201cBeth\u201d Pryor \u2013 Portland, Indiana<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          Derek Lightle (wife Sara) \u2013 Bluffton, Indiana<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 sisters \u2013 Rose Valentine \u2013 Selah, Washington<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                     Cheryl Valentine \u2013 Roberts (husband Cary) Selah, Washington<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A brother \u2013 Luther Valentine \u2013 Hartford City, Indiana<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. at the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 11a.m at the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.\u00a0 Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Hartford City, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Memorials may be directed to the family in care of the funeral home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
