The South Adams Starfires finished just one point behind champions Frankton in a very competitive day of tennis to wrap up the regular season Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ava Kinsey won the No. 2 doubles competition for the Starfires, while the No. 1 Doubles team of Grace Barkley and Sam Weigel also won first place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other two singles players, Abby Claghorn and Chloe Summersett, both took third place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The No. 2 doubles team of Ayla Loshe and Malina Mawhorr lost in the championship match. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Starfires await the IHSAA draw Monday night to see whom they play in this week’s sectional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
