The Bellmont Braves celebrated their Senior Night in exile Thursday night, giving the class of 2024 a chance to compete one last time before next week’s sectional. Despite the odd lineup in a couple of events, the Braves still managed to tie Norwell and finish ahead of Adams Central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Khia Cannon’s hand-timed and winning time in the 100 was her career best. Cannon also won the 400 with a PR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Faith Zuercher (AC) cleared 4′ 2″ for the first time this year in the high jump. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Hailey Cole already owned the Bellmont school record in the shot from the meet at New Haven, but she added another foot to it, going 41′ 3″ as she continues to make her presence known in the area. The sectional-winning distance in 2023 was just over 39 feet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-AC’s Ashlyn Doster had the best shot toss of the season for the Jets in the meet, going 25 feet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
