The South Adams Starfires prepared for the upcoming sectional by scheduling a tough opponent in Muncie Burris on just a few days’ notice for Monday and fell 5-0. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ava Kinsey was the lone varsity player to register a set victory, taking the opener against Caitlin Carter, 6-3, before losing the match in a marathon tiebreak, 14-12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was just the third loss of the season for Kinsey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Stars did have some success in the junior varsity matches. Results are below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
