South Adams fell in the championship game of their home Invite Saturday, beating Blackhawk Christian 4-3 in the morning game, but losing to Frankton 11-1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh resulted in an unusual walk-off against the Braves. Owen Wanner scored the winning run and collected two hits, including a lead-off single to start the seventh. He also started on the mound, going the distance and allowing just four hits, while striking out six. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Derek Weaver drew the winning walk and had a double. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the championship against Frankton, the home team was held to just two hits in a five-inning, 11-1 loss. Wyatt Smith struck out six and allowed just one unearned run to win the Eagles the title. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kane Sturwold pitched well in relief for the Stars, allowing just one run in two innings of work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hunter Fields and Luke Bauman had the only hits for the Starfires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
