The Bluffton Tigers used their depth to take care of both Heritage and South Adams Tuesday in track & field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patriots and Starfires shared second place with 38 points each. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All three teams will be back at Bluffton Friday night for the annual ACAC meet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes & Results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Caiden Neuenschwander tried his hand at the 200 and the 400 and set personal bests in both events for the Starfires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Wyatt Mann (SA) had a tough task in the 800 facing Tyler Godwin and Levi Johns, but his third-place finish was still his best of the year and just a second away from his PR. Mann missed out on second place by .01 seconds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Aaron Baeumler (H) ran a PR and took fifth in the 800. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-South Adams’ Dakota Sprunger was sixth with a season best in the 800. Sprunger won the mile and equalled his PR, beating out Bluffton freshman Aidan Graves by three seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Gabe Hanford (H) was fourth for the Patriots in the 1600 with a season-best time of 5:01.01.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Deacon Bierbaum set season bests in the 1600 and in the 3200, which he won in 10:59.27 for South Adams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Tytus Lehman (SA) ran his best 100 hurdles in his career and finished second to Bluffton’s top hurdler (Andrew Hunt).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The Starfires’ 4×100 relay team of Jackson Garcia, Uriel Gutierrez, Blake Hoffman and Will Patterson produced the best time of the season so far for South Adams, finishing second in 46.65.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Tytus Lehman also set a PR in the high jump. He took fifth place by clearing 5′ 4″. Lehman also set a new PR in the long jump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-It was an all-around good night for the Patriots in the long jump pit. With Piper Pierce setting a new career mark on the girls’ side, they also got one from the boys’ side when Braden Walter went 19-09.75″, the longest distance of any long jumper in Z Land this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Charlie Riddle swept the throwing events for Heritage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Heritage teammate Wyatt Garland was third with a new PR in the discus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Grant O’Dell (SA) was tenth in the discus with a new PR of 104′ 1″.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
