Adams Central standout Gabi Landis captured titles in both the 800 and the 1600 to highlight the Jets’ participation in Friday’s Apache Invite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes & Results: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Landis won the 800 with her best performance of the season (2:29.28) and she was within a second of last year’s best time with three weeks still to go before sectional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Alyssa Fruechte was seventh and also ran her season best for the Jets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Landis was a bit off her pace from what she ran against Heritage and Southern Wells in the 1600, but she still won by a comfortable margin of 11 seconds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Haley Jauregui and Faith Zuercher each matched their season bests in the high jump to finish ninth and eleventh, respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
