The Starfire girls track team scored the bulk of their points at Friday’s Ansonia Relays in the field events as they finished in seventh place in the competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team will be back in action Tuesday at home against Southern Wells. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes & Results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The Starfire 4×400 relay team was fourth with a season-best time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Liz Gerber and Megan Yoder teamed up to win fifth place in the discus and in the shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Kapri Bixler and Aleena Bierbaum finished tied for second in the team long jump. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
