Two new officers have been sworn in as members of the Decatur Police Department and began their field training this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joseph Collier and Luke Roby officially became members of the department during a ceremony at City Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both are 21 years old and graduates of Adams Central High School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They will attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roby is a native of Adams County, the son of Josh and Kelly Roby. Colllier is the son of Randall and Julie Collier and is engaged to wed Sage Hammond in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
