Charlie Riddle was the star for Heritage at Saturday’s Patriot Relays. The team is back in action Tuesday against Adams Central and Southern Wells. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes & Results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The Patriots claimed third place in the 4×100 relay with a season-best time of 46.20 seconds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Davian Bates cleared 5-06 in the high jump for the first time and finished tied for second with teammate Braden Walter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Walter was third in the long jump with a new career best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Teammate Zane VanOsdale was right behind him with a PR of his own for fourth place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Charlie Riddle needed the biggest throw of his career to win the discus and he did just that, going 145-07 to take first place for the home team. Riddle added the shot put for good measure, as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
