Nancy A. Yoder, 85, of Berne, Indiana passed away late Saturday night March 23. 2024, she had resided in Sonnenblum at Swiss Village. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was born on August 17, 1938, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Arthur C. and Eleanor M.(Steele) Shoaf.                                      <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nancy was united in marriage to Earl W. Yoder on October 20, 1957 at Monroe United Methodist, and he survives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was a former member of the Monroe United Methodist Church in Monroe. Nancy was a former Sunday School Teacher, and Pre-school Teacher. She served as President of the United Methodist Women.  She served as a 4-H Leader for French Township Peppy Peppers; Adams Central and South Adams Mini-4-H Clubs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nancy served in the lunchroom at Adams Central School for several years.  She also worked part- time for Adams County Extension Office for 15 years. Following the Extension Office Nancy worked at Berne Senior Center a few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is survived by her loving husband, Earl W. Yoder of Berne, Indiana; son, Doug (Carolyn) Yoder of Hoagland, Indiana; son, Jeff (Jill) Yoder of Monroe, Indiana; son, Brad (Taya) Yoder of Berne, Indiana; brother, Jack (Sue) Shoaf       of Berne, Indiana; five grandsons, Joel (Virginia), John (Ami), Ryan, Reid (Cayla) and Cale Yoder; granddaughter, Caylie Yoder; seven great-grandchildren, Karsen Eib & Kayden Yoder; Mia & Micah Yoder; William Yoder, Ava Yoder and Adalyn Yoder <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, to her parents; Nancy was preceded in death by a sister, Rena Lou Shoaf as an infant<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Swiss Village Chapel with Pastor Mike Wertenberger officiating. Burial will follow at St. Luke\u2019s Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family and friends will be received from 3-5 p.m. & 6-8p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Swiss Village Chapel and one hour prior to service at Swiss Village Chapel on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preferred memorials are to Kinder Haus Child Care at Swiss Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
