The A440 Strings, all members of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, will perform excerpts from George Frederic Handel\u2019s\u00a0The Messiah\u00a0in addition to other seasonal music for the Prelude, Postlude, and hymn accompaniments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0These musicians: violinists Kristin Westover and Pablo Vasquez and cellist Brian Klickman have performed together for many years throughout northeast Indiana in concert halls, schools, and churches. During this special service, musical\u00a0selections from Parts I and II of\u00a0The Messiah\u00a0will be presented along with the Biblical passages upon which the music is based.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Messiah\u00a0is probably the best known of Handel\u2019s works and was composed\u00a0in less than one month in 1741. Handel himself conducted its first performance in Dublin, Ireland, in 1742. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u00a0 \u00a0First Presbyterian Church in Bluffton is located at 215 E. Dustman Road. Pastors and members from First United Methodist Church and from Calvary\u00a0Lutheran Church will also assist in this worship service. The celebration of Holy Communion will be observed too.
