Ranly, 70, of Decatur, Indiana passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was born on February 6, 1954, in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Carl Ranly and the late Mary (Bruns) Ranly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James worked in construction and was a part of the Ohio Labor Union.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Survivors include two sons, Gustin James (Ashten) Ranly and Sebastian Cole (Adrienne) Ranly both of Decatur, Indiana; two daughters, Jade Miller &nbsp; &nbsp; of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Jasmine (Matthew) Ranly-Sarkissian of Fredericksburg, Virginia; sister, Lori (Jeff) Smith of Defiance, Ohio; brother, Chris (Sandy) Ranly of Greenwood, South Carolina; and 12 grandchildren.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Lee (Lovellette) Ranly; and two sisters, Margery Poole and Ann Schaffner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In honoring Jim\u2019s wishes, there will be no services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preferred memorials can be given to Stillwater Hospice and mailed to the Zwick &amp; Jahn Funeral Home \u2013 520 N. 2nd St. Decatur, Indiana 46733.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arrangements by Zwick and Jahn Funeral Homes of Decatur, Indiana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James W.
