Annunziata, 75, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at his residence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was born on September 27, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Albert Annunziata&nbsp;and Helen (Wheeler) Lanier. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was a member of the V.F.W. &nbsp;Post 6236, Eagles Aerie #2653, Moose Lodge #1311 all in Decatur. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robert was employed at Carpenters Union #157 in New York City for many years.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He served in the United States Navy in the Construction Battalion (Seabees) during the Vietnam War, where he was honorably discharged.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robert is survived by his sister Rosemarie (David) Weiland of Decatur, Indiana; half-sister, Stella (Gene) Maiello\u00a0of Gilboa, New York; and many nieces and nephews.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be no services held for Robert, burial will take place at a later date at East Salem Cemetery.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preferred memorials are to the V.F.W. Post #6236 in Decatur. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arrangements by Zwick and Jahn Funeral Homes of Decatur, Indiana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robert D.
