Through an in-depth strategic planning process, the Swiss Village Board of Directors, Strategic Planning Committee, and the Swiss Village Senior Leadership Team has recently announced the roll out of a strategic project that will launch Swiss Village toward dynamic growth and opportunity. Project LIFE will be a multi-phase project allowing Swiss Village to provide greater person-centered care and services while focusing on innovation and lifestyle-based living environments desired for the future.

Swiss Village’s mission statement “Pursuing Life Together” breathes new life into the organization. Board Member Bertie Lehman states, “We believe there is nothing greater than a group of people, Swiss Village Residents, staff, and families, living, and working alongside one another to create a lifestyle of community, connection, and contribution that allows us all to pursue life together. When you look at the new mission statement the one word that sticks out to us is the word LIFE. It is part of our Strategic Plan and our goal to create an environment here at Swiss Village where residents and staff come to truly live! To do and try new things, create new opportunities, friendships, and take new leadership roles. A place where everyone has the opportunity to live LIFE! Inside the word LIFE is where we find our new Swiss Village Set of Values: L – Leadership I – Innovation F – Faith E – Engagement. It is our hope that our new Mission Statement is one that is energizing, and our new values challenging yet meaningful. We hope that our Swiss Village family and our community will embrace this moment of celebration as we begin a new adventure of embracing the Swiss Village legacy yet set out to move Swiss Village on a new course to embrace the future.”

The first phase of Project LIFE was recently completed with construction and hallway modifications taking place in the northwest neighborhood of Edelweiss, where Swiss Village had been housing rehabilitation and therapy services. At the same time, the former rehabilitation neighborhood of Westenfeld was brought back to life in preparation for therapy and rehabilitation services to return “home” after a long COVID driven vacancy. Swiss Village is proud to announce the opening of the new Alpenrose Memory Care neighborhood which has moved into their new living space, the former northwest neighborhood of Edelweiss.

Christen Sprunger, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations notes, “Pursuing Life Together – we are excited about the future of Swiss Village through this strategic project! We look forward to strategically moving Swiss Village forward! We know and understand that growth is difficult, and change is never easy, yet we too know that progress comes when we seek to be leaders, create an environment of innovation, rely on our Heavenly Father to direct us, and engage in LIFE together!”

PRESS RELEASE Swiss Village has been a cornerstone of the Berne and Adams County community for 56 years.

{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

9
17
post-14002","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","tag-community
https://i0.wp.com/wzbd.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/photoless-header-template-news.jpg?fit=252%2C144&ssl=1
["GET
