It was a night to forget for the Bellmont boys track team as they were soundly beaten by the DeKalb Barons Tuesday, with the Braves managing just two wins – Trevor Smith in the pole vault and a relay win because of a DQ by DeKalb. The team will next compete in Friday\u2019s South Adams Relays.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet Notes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Will Kintz jumped in for the 100 and ran the second-fastest time for the team this year behind Trevor Smith, who did not compete Tuesday in the sprints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Harry Gunsett ran a season best in the 400 and finished sixth in 58.9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-After running an incredible mile Friday at Heritage, Ian Webb ran next to his partner and classmate, Elijah Obringer, and finished with identical times of 11:08 for third place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Senior Noah Short lowered his PR in the 110 hurdles by three tenths of a second and was second in 19.5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collin Esparza equalled his best high jump attempt of the year at 5-02 to take second. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Alex Schirack bettered his PR in the discus by over two feet and was second with a throw of 117-02. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
