Myrna Zimmerman, MBA, BSN, Service Line Manager for Women’s Health & the OB\/Newborn Clinic at Adams Medical Group, has announced a special event for women scheduled for Thursday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Women’s Love Yourself Health Night” will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Adams Medical Complex on the Adams Memorial Hospital campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A news release said the “Well-Woman Exam” will include a physical exam, PAP smear, breast and pelvic exam, and skin evaluations (a provider available to assess any areas of concern).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also part of each appointment will be labs, including a TSH (thyroid) for $20, hemogram for $20, and an A1C test for $25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opportunity to schedule a mammogram, a CT Heart Smart Scan, and a bone density test will also be offered, the news release said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost of the exam will be filed with a person’s insurance company while the labs will require cash payment that night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following providers will be at the event: Dr. Kathleen Heimann and Dr. Lisa Ferrando, along with certified nurse midwifes Annette Edgell and Stephanie Lothamer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants can register for door prizes, including a handbag, manicure gift certificate from T&N Nails, a 30-minute massage by an Adams massage therapist, Dove chocolate, and a gift card from Betsey’s Boutique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
