Swimmers from the area competed in the preliminary heats at the Jay County sectional Thursday, with the top 16 in each event advancing to Saturday’s finals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UPDATE: Due to the snow Friday, the Saturday session has been pushed back. No start time has been announced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes & Times:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Bellmont’s medley relay team of Oliver Werling, Hudson Krull, Zayne Roop and Logan Whitacre swam a season best to make the A Final. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The Starfire medley team of Ian Neuenschwander, Brayden Hough, Braylon Schoch and Haden Meyer made the A Final with a season-best time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Haden Meyer (SA) cut six seconds from his season best to make the B final in the 200. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adams Central’s Ethan Crockett also cut a significant amount of time from his season best to make the B Final in the 200 also. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Kale Meredith of Norwell took third in the IM with a season-best time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Oliver Werling of Bellmont made the A Final with a season best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Gage Reinhard (Norwell) swam a season best and made the A Final in the 50. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Hudson Krull of Bellmont won himself a spot in the A Final of the 50 as well, swimming a career-best time of 24.88. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ian Neuenschwander (SA) turned in a season best, but was .02 seconds out of eighth place in the 50. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Owen Connelley swam his best time of the year in the butterfly and made the B Final for the Jets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Braylon Schoch cut over three seconds from his season-best time in the 100 Free to make the B Final. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ethan Williamson trimmed 13 seconds from his best 500 time of the year to take third for Norwell. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Gage Reinhard also cut significant time for Norwell in the marathon race and took fourth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-AC’s Ethan Crockett cut 37 seconds from his season best and made the B Final for the Jets in the 500. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Oliver Werling swam a career best to take third place for Bellmont in the backstroke. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Zayne Roop will swim in the B Final for Bellmont after a season-best performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Kale Meredith of Norwell took fourth in the breast with a season-best time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Hudson Krull also swam a career best in the breast and will swim in the A Final for Bellmont. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Norwell’s 400 relay team took third in the prelims with a season-best performance from Hoag, Reinhard, Meredith and Heyerly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adams Central’s 400 relay team also had a great performance and will swim in the A Final after Owen Connelley, Tristen Wurm, Ethan Crockett and Logan Clark also swam a season best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Bellmont coach Drew Norby moved Hudson Krull to the anchor leg of the 400 relay and the Braves swam a season best and made the A Final. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
