{"id":12659,"date":"2024-01-30T11:06:18","date_gmt":"2024-01-30T16:06:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=12659"},"modified":"2024-01-30T11:06:19","modified_gmt":"2024-01-30T16:06:19","slug":"compost-woodpile-scheduled-for-grinding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2024\/01\/30\/compost-woodpile-scheduled-for-grinding\/","title":{"rendered":"Compost woodpile scheduled for grinding"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By BOB SHRALUKA<br><\/strong><em>WZBD.com<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So much wood \u2013 unusable wood \u2013 has piled up at Decatur&#8217;s compost pile that a firm with heavy-duty equipment is being hired to remove it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operations Manager Jeremy Gilbert told the city&#8217;s board of works and safety at its recent meeting that an enormous pile of wood needs to be taken out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He asked for and was given permission to hire Tawa Mulch &amp; Landscape Supply of Findlay, Ohio, to grind up the wood. It&#8217;s been a rough year for them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Henry, of course, is Tom Henry, who just began his fifth term as mayor of Fort Wayne.
