All the schools in Jay, Adams and Wells counties sent teams to Wabash Valley Saturday for a cold and blustery day of golf and it was two Wells county teams competing for the title, with Keegan Schwartz\u2019s outstanding 66 giving the Bluffton Tigers a one-stroke victory over their rivals, the Norwell Knights.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schwartz went on an incredible run on the front nine, birdying the sixth hole and then holing out for eagle on seven. He followed that up with another birdie on eight and finished the first nine with a four-under 32. The Tiger captain made three more birdies on the back nine to finish off his incredible round. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bellmont\u2019s varsity competed at Foster Park Saturday, but the B team competed well at Wabash Valley, with Ben Binegar playing well, finishing with a team-best 42 on the back nine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Braves are back in action Tuesday at Columbia City, while Adams Central, South Adams and Jay County will all meet at Celina Lynx in an ACAC triple on the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
