Adams Central dominated the sprint races Thursday and built a big lead midway through the meet to beat the Bellmont Braves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meet was supposed to be held at Bellmont, but mechanical issues at the BHS pool forced it to be moved to AC water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both squads are set to swim in weekend conference meets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addison Gilbert finished second in the 50 and the 100 for the Jets. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Notes & Times: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The medley relay team of Baylee Smith, Savannah Hendricks, Kate Moser and Brooke Thomas won the opening event of the night easily for the Jets, but they still turned in a season-best time of 2:09.44 for the first-place points. That is the fastest medley relay time of any county team this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ella Hockemeyer won the 500 with her best time of the season, taking the heat in 6:17.84.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ella Bluhm was third for the Jets with a season-best time of 6:58.68.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Madison Witte easily won the Breast for Bellmont and she did it with her career best. (1:18.86)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
