Nellie Diana Mere, 76, of Geneva, IN, passed away at 7:11 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at her home in Geneva, IN. She was born on Friday, July 4, 1947, in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She married James Hugh Mere on Saturday, June 1, 1974, in Greensburg, IN. Nellie was a1965 graduate of Albuquerque High School in New Mexico. She was a member of the First Missionary Church in Berne. Nellie enjoyed playing board games, watching sports, and watching videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nellie will be sadly missed by her Husband – James Hugh Mere, Geneva, IN, Sons – James Ryan Mere, Huntington, IN, David Lee Mere, Geneva, IN, Granddaughters – Lauren Elizabeth Mere, Berne, IN, Averie Marie Mere, Berne, IN, Sisters – Tammy Gibson, Goshen, IN, Marsha Tomoto, Indianapolis, IN, and Patty Herron, Indianapolis, IN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was preceded in death by her Parents- John & Wilma Mae (Line) Herron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at First Missionary Church 950 S. US 27 Berne on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Celebration of Life service will follow at First Missionary Church at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 19, 2024, with Pastor Jim Schwartz officiating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
