Makenzie will attend the University of Louisville to major in nursing.\u00a0 This recognition was awarded at the Bellmont Scholarship Awards event, April 12, 2023.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mandy Jo Arnold, age\u00a042, of Decatur, went home to be with her Father in heaven\u00a0on\u00a0Friday\u00a0morning,\u00a0September 17,\u00a02021.\u00a0 She was at home with her husband Brent; daughter,\u00a0Macy (17), sons,\u00a0Cole (15),\u00a0Max (10), and\u00a0Crew (8), all of whom made up the entirety of her whole world.\u00a0 Mandy\u2019s eight-year long battle with cancer was very courageous, and through\u00a0it all,\u00a0she\u00a0modeled a life worth celebrating. Mandy\u2019s love for her children were\u00a0the pride and joy of her life;\u00a0she loved them with such passion and pleasure, it was remarkable to behold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mandy also loved dancing,\u00a0which she did for 15 years with the Suzy\u00a0Fuelling Dance Studio, and as an instructor for another 13 years with Razz M Jazz. She enjoyed the yearly vacations and relaxing at their lake cottage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mandy graduated from Bellmont High School in 1997 and later married Brent M. Arnold in Decatur on Sept. 29, 2001. &nbsp;Mandy&nbsp;homeschooled all of her children and was a member of WACHE.&nbsp;Her love for&nbsp;babies, anything silver and shiny, note pads, and&nbsp;Bibles,&nbsp;was surpassed by no one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mandy was a caring and loving person, kind, gentle, and compassionate, which all stemmed from her faith In God, her faith was unshakable, solid, and true. She was an\u00a0example to all her knew her, and inspirational to those who would know her story.\u00a0\u00a0This fund, endowed in the ACCF, will ensure an annual tribute to Mandy Arnold will be remembered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>It is scholarship season for current Adams County college students (out of high school 1+ years) can apply for scholarships coming up soon.&nbsp; The due date is Wed., June 7, 2023 by 4:00 pm.
