Friday night was the annual Heritage Relays and several county athletes had outstanding performances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Track Notes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ian Webb found himself in a dogfight in the mile against old foe Andrew Arnos. While it was Arnos who finished first, Webb was third in 4:34.22, 18 seconds faster than anything he has run in his high school career. The top three finishers were all faster than last year\u2019s sectional-winning time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ian Webb turned in an outstanding performance Friday night at the Heritage Relays. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

-Bellmont teammate Elijah Obringer did his best to keep pace with Webb and his time of 4:44 was second-fastest of any county runner this year. He finished in fifth place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-AC\u2019s Trevor Schwartz also cut considerable time from his season best to finish 14th in 5:05.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Trevor Smith equalled his season best of 11-06 to finish second in the pole vault for Bellmont.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Evan Sovine cleared eight feet for the first time for Bellmont in the pole vault. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Aaron Hirschy was ninth in the long jump for Adams Central with a season best of 17-03.25. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Trenton Hoffman won the discus with a throw of over 139 feet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoffman\u2019s teammate, Cashton Reynolds, was third in the discus with a PR of 130-09. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Aidan Ford set a new PR for Bellmont in the discus at 108-04. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
