The Bellmont Braves hosted county rival South Adams Tuesday in the BHS pool and came away with a victory as the team continues to drop times and show impressive improvement this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meet served as a final warm-up for the tough NE8 meet, where the team will compete against five other schools at Norwell Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-After winning the diving again, Bellmont freshman Logan Whitacre anchored the medley relay team to another win. Teammates Oliver Werling, Hudson Krull and Zayne Roop teamed up with Whitacre to swim their best time of the year so far. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Zayne Roop (Bellmont) won the Fly with his best time of the year and was just .06 seconds off his career best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Another Bellmont freshman, Samson Owens, continues to cut time from his 500 PR. He finished third in an extremely competitive heat with his time of 6:37.74. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Oliver Werling (Bellmont) swam a 1:06.55 and won the backstroke in a new career best for the sophomore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
