It was a very competitive swim meet Thursday in the South Adams pool, with the Starfish taking the girls’ meet and the Tiger Sharks winning on the boys’ side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes & Times:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ava Kinsey cut some major time from her career best and won the 200 Free in 2:11.70. Her previous best of 2:15 was already the fastest of any county swimmer this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Calah Hill won the IM with a new season-best time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Freshman GenaMarie Summersett swam her best 50 this season and won in 27.85. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Kinsey continued her strong night by eclipsing her best time of the season so far (59.51 against Adams Central) and winning in 59.47, just ahead of talented Bluffton freshman Ellie Coyne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Freshman KayLynn Grush bettered her score from earlier in the week for a new PR with her six dives Thursday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Julia Arnold jumped into the pool and swam her 20 lengths for the first time this season in the 500 and won in 6:10.87, twenty seconds ahead of the rest of the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The medley relay team swam an outstanding race to outswim all three Bluffton teams, cutting five seconds off the previous season best to win in 2:01.26. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ian Neuenschwander swam a season-best 26.11 Tuesday against Fort Recovery and then beat that time Thursday with a 26-flat to beat teammate Haden Meyer, who finished second. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Haden Meyer swam his best 500 of the year and finished in 6:30.42.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Neuenschwander anchored the 200 Free Relay team to a third-place finish with the team’s best time of the year (1:50.05).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Neuenschwander won the backstroke, swimming it for the first time this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Brayden Hough won the breaststroke with the exact same time as Tuesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
