The Bellmont Braves returned to the pool after winter break and won nine of twelve events to beat Jay County at home Tuesday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Freshman Logan Whitacre won the diving against two JC competitors and set a new personal best with a six-dive total of 155.40. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Whitacre then jumped in the pool from a different angle and, like his freshman counterpart Bella Ashley, anchored the medley relay team to victory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Zayne Roop swam his best time this season in the 50 and finished first in 26.61. He also won the butterfly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Gaven Pritchard set season marks in the 200 and 100 Free for Bellmont. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Bellmont used two freshmen and two sophomores to win the 200 Free Relay with their best time of the season (1:46.28).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Taufeeq Ally turned in his best career performance in the breaststroke, taking third in 1:21.54. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
