Stanley “Tom” Hart, 75, of Ossian, IN, passed away at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Ossian Health & Rehab Center in Ossian, IN.  He was born on Wednesday, April 28, 1948, in Decatur, IN.  Tom was a graduate of Geneva High School. He had worked for 50 years at WEG, formerly Franklin Electric in Bluffton, where he worked in the shop. Tom had been a Union president of I.U.E. local #802. He was an avid book reader and a big I.U. fan. Tom enjoyed history. He loved spending time with his Grandkids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will be missed by his daughter – Sheri (Brian) Crickard, Bluffton, IN, Son – Jason Hart, Eugene, OR, Daughter – Tomi Cardin, Fort Wayne, IN, Granddaughter – Cassandra Crickard, Bluffton, IN, Grandson – Cody Crickard, Bluffton, IN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was preceded in death by his Parents – Marvin E. and Nema (Stanley) Hart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A service to celebrate Toms life will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, with the Pastor Steve Rogers officiating.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preferred memorials may be sent to The American Diabetes Association 6415 Castleway W. Drive Indianapolis, IN  46250                            <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
