Bailey and the late Donna B. (Landrum) Bailey.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Jean was united in marriage to Larry Wilson on September 13, 1958 at Union Church in Huntington County, Indiana and he survives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jean was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Celina and was currently attending The 712 Church in Celina. &nbsp;She was a 1956 graduate of Pleasant Mills High School. &nbsp;Following her graduation, she continued her education at Purdue University for one year before transferring to St. Francis College, where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. &nbsp;She eventually also received her Master\u2019s Degree in Education from St. Francis in 1965. &nbsp;She taught at Fort Wayne Community Schools and Adams Central Community Schools for time spanning 25 years. &nbsp;Following her retirement from teaching, she joined her husband Larry in the operation of Interior Designs in Decatur for 42 years where she was the chief designer and decorator. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jean loved spending time attending her granddaughter\u2019s softball games. &nbsp;Recently, she added great-grandchildren\u2019s softball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball games to her itinerary. &nbsp;Playing cards (Hand and Foot) with her friends brought hours of enjoyment. &nbsp;She was a fan of the Purdue music concerts which she and Larry would regularly attend. &nbsp;<br>Jean loved her time on Grand Lake. &nbsp;She spent hours watching the birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat. &nbsp;She was the consummate hospitality host. &nbsp;Her home was frequented by her high school class, Larry\u2019s high school class, and many Sunday School Classes over the years for gatherings. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Survivors include her husband, Larry Wilson of Celina, Ohio; daughter, Melissa Rorick of Decatur, Indiana; son, Mark Wilson of Berne, Indiana; granddaughter, Katie (Brandon) Scherer;<br>three great grandchildren, Hannah, Maverick, and Hadley Scherer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Bailey; sister, Nancy Sidle; son-in-law, Tom Rorick<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In following Jean\u2019s wishes, there will be no services at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preferred memorials can be given to St. Joseph Catholic School Athletic Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arrangements by Zwick and Jahn Funeral Homes of Decatur, Indiana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Norma J. \u201cJean\u201d Wilson, 85, of Celina, Ohio, formerly of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 26,<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[8],"tags":[23],"class_list":["post-11179","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-obituaries","tag-obit"],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"","jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/11179","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=11179"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/11179\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=11179"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=11179"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=11179"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
