{"id":10727,"date":"2023-12-12T12:18:15","date_gmt":"2023-12-12T17:18:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=10727"},"modified":"2023-12-12T12:18:17","modified_gmt":"2023-12-12T17:18:17","slug":"norvin-thieme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2023\/12\/12\/norvin-thieme\/","title":{"rendered":"Norvin Thieme"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cdn.batesvilletechnology.com\/fh_live\/15900\/15910\/images\/obituaries\/8782690.jpg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:206px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Norvin Thieme, 88, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was born on August 30, 1935, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Amos Thieme and the late Emma (Selking) Thieme. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Norvin served his country during the Vietnam War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was a member of the American Legion Post #43 in Decatur, Indiana. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was a lifelong farmer in Adams County. Additionally, he worked in home construction and a heavy equipment operator.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Norvin was an avid hunter throughout his lifetime and trap shooting back in the day.
