Highlights and notes from Monday’s swim meet between neighbors Jay County and South Adams:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Girls Meet<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Nia Litwiller set a new career PR in the butterfly and took first place in that event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Hannah Scott swam her best time of the year in the 100 Free and finished fourth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Calah Hill continues to cut time from her 500 PR and she did so again Monday, finishing a close third in 6:39.37. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Coach Ayres used a new combo on the 200 Free Relay and won with Nia Litwiller, Julia Arnold, GenaMarie Summersett and Ava Kinsey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Scott also swam her best time of the year in the backstroke and finished second. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Julia Arnold crossed the 1:20 mark for the first time this year and won the breaststroke. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Reagan Bollenbacher also set a season best in the breaststroke with a time of 1:29.78. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The Starfish also won the 400 relay with a season-best time of 4:21.44 with the same combination as the 200. They cut two seconds from their time way back at the Norwell Invite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
