The Panthers (2-1) hit seven of their eight free throws in the final period while the Starfires (4-7) hit a dismal 2-of-9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parkway senior guard Paige Williamson scored almost half of her team\u2019s points with a game-high 24, while putting on a shooting clinic: 6-for-9 on threes, 4-for-5 on free throws. Parkway\u2019s Bryn Schoenleben drained a short jumper with 2:38 left, putting the Panthers up at 43-42. After failing to score on their next two possessions, the Starfires were forced to foul Parkway\u2019s Megan Hughes with 51.5 to go. (Photo by Randy Hisner)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Parkway made five out of six free throws in the final seconds of the game, including four straight by Williamson, to clinch the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South Adams played a solid first half, taking a 27-24 lead by outscoring Parkway 19-14 in the second quarter behind nine points from Pries and a pair of three-pointers from Smith. Laney Trausch added two inside buckets in the period. She finished the game with eight points, sinking four of seven shots from the field.
