This year’s edition of the Bellmont Braves is a very young one, but the team had a great showing against perennial powerhouse Norwell at the BHS pool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Coach Drew Norby of the Bellmont Braves swapped Olivers, sending Oliver Werling to the lead leg of the medley relay and Oliver Goble to the anchor and, together with Hudson Krull and Zayne Roop, the team broke the two-minute mark for the first time this year, taking second to Norwell in the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Rylan Heyerly (Norwell) became the first area swimmer to break the two-minute mark in the 200, winning in 1:59.14. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Zayne Roop (Bellmont) was second in the butterfly with a new season best.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Keaton Blinn of Norwell was second in the 100 Free with a new PR. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Kale Meredith turned in a standout performance for Norwell Tuesday in the 500, winning with an exceptional early-season time of 5:47.17. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Bellmont\u2019s Samson Owens was fourth in the 500, cutting nine seconds from his previous best in his freshman season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Oliver Werling was the winner in the backstroke with a new PR of 1:08.03. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
