The Adams Central swim teams earned a split against Bluffton Tuesday in their home pool, with the girls winning by 40 points and the boys falling by a wide margin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Girls Highlights<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Addison Gilbert swam a career best in the 50 and won the heat, edging out teammate Danica Michaels for the top spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Kate Moser won the backstroke and teammate Baylee Smith had a season-best time for second place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Savannah Hendricks cut three tenths from her time last week against SA for a new season best in the breaststroke in the win.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boys Highlights<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Senior Owen Connelley\u2019s butterfly presence in the medley relay made a big difference as the Jetskis swam their best time of the year and were just short of winning, finishing in 1:56.21. Logan Clark, Jackson Shoaf and Haidynn Meyer joined Connelley in the relay. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Logan Clark\u2019s third-place time in the 200 was the best clocked by an Adams County swimmer this season (2:09.71). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ethan Crockett also swam a season best and was fourth in the 200. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Connelley also returned to the IM scene and turned in a respectable 2:41.74 in his first attempt this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Haidynn Meyer and Eli Wellman each swam season bests and broke 30 seconds in the 50. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Damon Light came within 1.5 points of breaking his own school record with another great diving performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Clark also swam his season best in the backstroke and was second. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Titus Morgan swam a career best in the backstroke and took fifth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Connelley also swam the first leg of the 400 relay and helped the Jets record their best time by nearly 24 seconds this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
