Cordell W. White, 32 of Noble County, was sentenced Monday in the Adams Circuit Court after previously pleading guilty to sexual battery, a level 4 felony.

According to the Adams County Prosecutor’s Office, the offense was “on or about March 24, 2025 in Adams County, State of Indiana, Cordell W White, with the intent to arouse or satisfy the sexual desires of defendant, did compel victim to submit to touching by force and threatened the use of deadly force.”
White was sentenced to ten years in the Indiana Department of Correction with two years suspended and eight years executed. He will be on formal probation for two years. He will also now be required to register as a sex or violent offender.
Decatur man handed felony child pornography charges
Ryan D. Miller, 41, of Decatur, was recently sentenced in the Adams Circuit Court after pleading guilty to three counts of possession of child pornography, each as a level 5 felony.

The defendant was sentenced to seven years of incarceration with four years suspended and three years executed. He will be on formal probation for a period of four years. He is now required to register as a sex or violent offender.
