Adams Health Network has announced that Missy Henry, RN, of Adams Memorial Hospital’s Obstetrics (OB) Department, has been selected as the latest honoree of the prestigious DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
The award, according to a news release, recognizes nurses who demonstrate exceptional clinical skill, compassion, and a deep commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
A ceremony honoring Henry was recently held at Adams Memorial Hospital.
Adams staff, the patient that nominated Missy Henry, Missy’s family and friends, and community members attended to celebrate her remarkable contributions to patient care.
The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that celebrates the meaningful difference nurses make in the lives of patients and families every day.
Adams Health says it is honored to participate in the program and to highlight nurses who consistently embody excellence in their profession.

“Our nurses are at the heart of everything we do,” said Chief Nursing Officer Chris Butler. “We are thrilled to recognize Missy Henry for her dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the patients and families she serves. She truly exemplifies what the DAISY Award represents.”
