Greg Manning passed away in his home on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. He was born in Decatur Indiana on March 5, 1958 to William and Constance Manning, and was the middle child with two sisters.

Greg graduated from South Adams High School, then went on to attend Purdue University where he received his degree in Mechanical Engineering. His career spanned from time working in Aerospace, to a brief change to massage therapy, then back to the Engineering field he was so passionate about. He built lasting friendships with several classmates from high school and college, and was always willing to share stories about their numerous adventures. Greg loved being with his family, and was known to spend several hours on the phone keeping in touch with those who did not live nearby. He never missed a holiday or birthday dinner with his nieces and nephews, and always looked forward to the annual 4th of July cookout with his cousins.
Greg is survived by his brother-in-law Jeff Sprunger, Jeff’s children Nikole Sprunger, Mariah (Menno) Eicher, Samantha Sprunger, and Chance (Alex) Sprunger; his sister Brenda (Rick) Shryock, and their children Ryan Shryock and Kylie (Jeong Hwan) Shryock; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Connie, sister Joni, and nephew-in-law James All.
