
Though the decision isn’t yet finalized, the Adams County Commissioners Tuesday threw their support behind a committee recommendation to relocate most of the county’s judicial system into the county’s current government complex.

The study committee said it hopes to keep the Adams Circuit Court in the courthouse, but wants to move most other judicial services into the new complex…wherever that might be. The study committee has investigated options for a new judicial center for the past two years. The final decision rests with the Commissioners and County Council, and that decision could still be weeks or even months away.
