Officials at Adams Central Community Schools announced that there would be a special board meeting on July 23rd at 6 p.m.
The announcement comes two weeks after the regular school board meeting ended in front of a large crowd amid controversy over two issues – high school valedictorian and salutatorian awards and the ongoing controversy over an alleged assault on school grounds and the subsequent fallout.
A recap of that meeting can be found here on our website. It is not known if the newly-scheduled meeting is related to the aforementioned issues.
The meeting will be held in room M-1.

According to the press release, the open, public meeting will be preceded by a closed executive session at 4:30 p.m. on the same night. The purpose of the meeting will be for the board to receive information about and interview prospective employees.
