Decatur City Hall will be closed Friday, July 4, and officials have announced a change in the trash/garbage collection.
This Thursday will be a double-trash day, with city workers picking up both the normal Thursday and Friday routes that day.
There will be no collection on Friday.
Berne’s trash collection will be the same: Thursday and Friday routes will be picked up Thursday.
Berne offices will be closed on Friday.
