There was a hot time in the ol’ town last Saturday as Decatur Main Street held its annual Downtown Decatur Day.
Temperatures in the low 90-s and lots of sunshine ruled the day, as did tons of fun for those among a good-sized turnout for the five-hour event.

“What a weekend!! We are thrilled at the turnout this past Saturday & despite the heat, it was a hit!!” Decatur Main Street officials said on the volunteer organization’s Facebook page.
Dancers, Cinderella, Spiderman, were among the entertainment offered, along with the first Miss Decatur Day pageant.

Those who attended are asked to fill out a survey “so we can continue improving this event for you.” The survey is as: https://s.surveyplanet.com/w0s7mcut
