Poles in the area of the Five Points Intersection in Decatur were coming down Thursday with the installation of a roundabout scheduled to begin Monday.
The project being overseen by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is expected to have the area closed for three to four months.

During the project, parking will be banned along the entire length of First St. and on Rugg St. The bans will only be temporary, during the project work.
Sewer work will be done as the project begins, followed two or there weeks later by concrete work.
E&B Paving of Muncie is the general contractor for the state project.
