A months-long investigation led to the arrest of a local drug dealer and his stash of pounds of drugs in Adams County Friday morning.
The arrest was made after Adams County officers, with the help of Decatur City Police and Indiana DNR, executed a search warrant at an Adams County home.

Arrested was a Decatur male, Taylor J Braun. The 27-year-old had been discovered selling drugs to both adults and juveniles in the area through the investigation.
The Adams County Sheriff’s office released the following details about the arrest of Braun and the seizure of drugs (see provided photos below):
As a result of the search warrant, approximately 26 lbs. of marijuana, 30 oz. THC wax, 60 bags of
THC gummies and 800 THC vape cartridges, along with 120 grams of mushrooms were confiscated along with a large amount of cash, drug paraphernalia and multiple firearms.



As a result of the investigation, Taylor J Braun was taken into custody for preliminary charges of
Possession of Marijuana, Dealing Marijuana, Possession and Dealing in a Controlled Substance and
Possession of Paraphernalia.
Sheriff Dan Mawhorr stated after the arrest that, “The Sheriff’s Office is always looking to make our community safer and this type of investigation and determination of your deputies will make Adams County safer.”
