The Adams County Commissioners met for the first time in 2025 Tuesday and took care of a lot of annual business thanks to the new year. They re-appointed all current department heads in Adams County Government, including County Attorney Mark Burry, who is beginning his 27th year in that position.
And as WZBD’s Ed Thurman reports, they welcomed a new Commissioner…who has done the job before…
Bauman defeated Steve Kuhn in the Republican primary last May and was unopposed in the November election.
The Commissioners chose Steve Bailey to be their board President for the new year replacing Stan Stoppenhagen, who is now the board’s Vice President for 2025.
