
Max L. Reinhart, 91, of Fort Wayne passed away on November 4, 2024, at StoryPoint Senior Living. He was born on March 19, 1933, in Decatur, to the late Samuel and Lisetta (Hannie) Reinhart. Max served in the United States Navy from 1952—1956, during the Korean War on the U.S.S. Wright. He went on to graduate from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and economics. He spent most of his career serving in the field of Human Resources, labor relations, and organizational development in the manufacturing industry. He enjoyed working at Lowe’s in the tool department during his retirement years. His hobbies throughout his life included sailing, golfing, and reading. He was preceded in death by siblings; Alice “Sally” Bittner, Melvin Reinhart, Lola Fox, Helen Foar, Harry Reinhart, Mabel Bushong, Ted Reinhart, and Wayne Reinhart. Surviving are his two beloved daughters, Jill (Lee) McAllister and Julie (Tim) Chapman. Arrangements have been entrusted to Liechty Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 8, at 11:00 a.m. at the MRE Cemetery, on SR 218, Berne, Indiana.
