The intersection of Third and Adams streets will be closed again Tuesday as part of the ongoing work at the Five Points intersection in Decatur.
The entire project area had been reopened last Friday in order that it might be used as part of the traditional Callithumpian Parade.

City Operations Manager Jeremy Gilbert, however, said Sunday that the Third and Monroe intersection would be closed Tuesday – after the parade – in order to finish water main work.
It is anticipated that the new closing should last for about one week.
Demolition of the now-closed gas station at the intersection is expected to begin the week before Thanksgiving.
Construction of the roundabout there will begin, barring the unforeseen, early next spring.
