This Saturday is going to be an extremely busy day in downtown Decatur.
The annual Sculpture Tour will hold its unveiling of the works at 3 p.m. Then, at 5 p,.m., the third edition of Connor Brite’s Wildflowers will begin.
Another event has been added to the day with the announcement of Family Friendly Free Yoga on the Madison St. Plaza, starting at 9 a.m.
It will be the first of three FFFYoga sessions, with two more scheduled on July 13 and August 24, both Saturdays.
Decatur Downdog is planning the yoga sessions, and owner Jenny Bowers-Shultz says, “Bring a mat or blanket to practice on, with an open mind and playful spirit! Let’s come together as community to connect and practice together.”
The sessions will be beginner-appropriate, according to Bowers-Shultz.
The sculpture event will be held across the street from the plaza, at the courthouse, and the Wildflowers celebration/fundraiser will be on the plaza.
