Linda M. Ramsey, 52, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at her residence. She was born on December 3, 1971, in Decatur, the daughter of Dave and Barb (Girard) Hitchcock.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and a member of the Moose Lodge #1311. Linda was a former employee of B.A.E.
Linda loved 80’s music and going to concerts. There wasn’t a casino she didn’t like. She enjoyed playing and donating. Linda always lived her life to the fullest, and was not afraid to speak her mind. Above all else, she loved her family!
Linda is survived by her parents, Dave and Barb Hitchcock of Decatur; her son, Garrett Turner of Decatur; her daughter, Macey Knous of Decatur; her brother, Bryan (Jennifer) Hitchcock of Decatur; her sidekick, Aunt Nancy of Decatur; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Scott A. Knous (in 1996).
Visitation will be from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with Father David Ruppert presiding. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to ACCF Angel Cancer Fund or the Adams / Wells Crisis Center.
