The Adams County Prosecuting Attorney’s office has filed two level one felony charges against Zachary J. Liechty, 33, New Haven, after the drug-related death in March this year of Emily Wynn.

According to information filed with Adams Circuit Court, chief deputy prosecuting attorney Chad M. Thurston filed a charge of dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death, a level one felony, and a second count of conspiracy to commit dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death, also a level one felony, against Liechty.
A probably cause affidavit for the arrest of Liechty said that on or about March 16 or 17, did knowingly or intentionally deliver fentanyl, a controlled substance, controlled substance Analog in violation of state law and when the fentanyl was used, injected, inhaled, or absorbed it resulted in the death of Wynn.
