Rodney A. Pierce, 65, of Celina, OH, passed away at 5:33 AM on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at a friend’s home in Woodburn, IN. He was born on Saturday, September 27, 1958, in Decatur, IN. He married Cathy Sue (Eckrote) Pierce. Rodney was a 1977 graduate of Adams Central High School. He was a factory worker and was a hard-core Green Bay Packers fan. Rodney enjoyed going to the races at Eldora and Montpelier Speedway and go cart racing.
Rodney will be sadly missed by his Son – Nicholas A. Pierce, Bluffton, IN, Daughters – Stephanie A. (Matthew) Heaton, Bluffton, IN, Christina M. Holley, Sisters – Cheryl Brest, Kingman, AZ, Jill Miller, Bluffton, IN, and 8 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Wife – Cathy Sue (Eckrote) Pierce, Father – Edward Lamoin Pierce, Mother – Loma Dorothy (Ray) Pierce, and Sister – Dixie Pierce.
Services to celebrate Rodney’s life will take place at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
